Pregnant holiday to Dubai

We’re looking at going on holiday end of Jan or end of Feb I’ll be either 18 or 21 weeks pregnant. Me and my partner are not married but are engaged. Has anyone ever been to Dubai while pregnant and not married? How was the experience?

I wouldn't Confused

What a strange destination to think of for a holiday in your circs!

Be aware that if you require medical treatment you risk being reported to the police and subject to detention. You wouldn't be the first.

It's a bad idea.

Absolutely not.

There have been a few well publicised stories in the media where unmarried couples have headed over to Dubai and found themselves in a sticky situation purely for not being wed.

Having a baby bump is like walking round with a sign above your head, and if you are “caught” a fake wedding ring isn’t going to throw anyone off the scent.

Those comments are a frightening thought. Apart from that, you might not enjoy the heat at that stage in your pregnancy.

That’s why I was asking if anyone had ever been, obviously if we could get in trouble we’ll look at other destinations.

It’s lovely weather Jan/Feb. Not baking hot but under your circumstances I would try somewhere else. Antigua, Tobago?
