I'm thinking of taking DP to Rome for his 40th birthday next year and wondered if anyone knew of any nice romantic hotels that are not too pricey and are near the city centre. I've tried to do a search for them but there's just too much to choose from, I don't know where to start. We will leave the kids behind (hoorah!)so it doesn't need to be kid friendly.
Any suggestions greatly received.
