And we've got decent BA flights from Heathrow (cheaper with Hire car than putting our car on the ferry & Motorail).

Loire DH not keen to drive too far, and none of us too keen on very hot weather Do you have aircon? We're goin to Brittany this summer and get a patio heater LOL

Very nice. We have aircon for the 4 days but not in the second van! We normally drive & have an overnight stop but decide to fly this year as a treat!

Only drawback is we usually bring back around 100 bottles of vin

Never used Canvas before - did you like them?

We went on a Eurocamp holiday in the Dordogne last year - v similar to Canvas (our mobile home was not as palatial as yours though). Kids had an absolute blast. Come to think of it, DP and I enjoyed ourselves quite a lot too. Hope you have a good one.

Canvas mobiles were fine. The reps were lovely, especially the kids club ones.

We stayed in a mobile just like your second one this half term with Canvas at Pachacaid. We were pleasantly surprised though I'm still getting over the mega loads of washing we had when we got back!
