Quiet holiday spot

Hi all, I'm looking for holiday ideas. Family 2+2, school aged kids. Two weeks in Aug, quiet spot, ideally with a pool. Safe, shallow beach nearby ( walk or will drive). I was thinking of Balearic islands or Greek islands. I don't mind cooking but b&b would be perfect. Cottage type of place. Can you please recommend that ideal holiday spot that I'm looking for? Thank you

How old are kids? School age is a big category.
Would you really want somewhere quiet with teenagers, for example?

Check out Dunas Douradas Beach Club in Portugal, we loved it. Not cheap, but worth every penny imo. We plan to return one day.

Fly to Athens, hire a jeep and drive to Rafina port, just under 30 minutes away to the east. There are regular daily ferries to Andros taking 2 hours (typically going at 7.30am, 5.30pm and 7.15pm). From the ferry terminal at Andros, it's another 45 minutes drive.

Just be aware though that with primary aged kids, your quiet holiday spot may not turn out to be all that quiet for every one else hoping for a quiet holiday spot.

Northern Spain, take Santander ferry, beautiful and quiet

The Cilento coast south of Naples. San Marco and Santa Maria both lovely. Fly to Naples then hire car or train to Agropoli.
