Food on board

Despite being pretty good eaters my 2DD seem to hate airline food. We are flying long haul at Xmas and part from ‘snacks’ I’m a bit out of sensible ideas to take onboard. I’d like a meal for them, but apart from making sandwiches I’m not really coming up with much.

Any clever ideas?

Snack stuff as mentioned

Look at the other menus to see if the vegetarian option, for example, might be more appetising

Save the odds and ends from your meals for further snacks during the flight - things like the bread rolls, cheese and crackers, puddings, fruit. DD is super fussy at eating too, but can subsist on a long haul flight on bread, crackers and grapes

What will they eat and then book a meal based on that
Most airlines now offer various options in addition to vegetarian and vegan. Child, gluten free, bland, halal, dairy free etc. There is a huge list
Def check with the airline

It’s a direct flight so one chance!

Pepperoni is a good idea. I must remember to bin it before we get off!
