Just wanted to pay it forward on the subject of getting hold of formula milk in Lanzarote. I couldn't find any consistent advice after much googling! The long and short it of is that I managed to switch my 6--month old from Hipp powder/ready made to the local Nestle brand with no problems whatsoever. The only local brand I could find which sold the ready made cartons is made by Nestle and called 'Nidina'. The baby loved it! The cartons come as 500ml so a bit bigger than expected and the formula tins are standard size. I could only find the ready made cartons in the pharmacies. Would recommend using low mineral bottled water to make up the formula. The brand called 'Bezoya' worked well and is widely available.
