Hi
New to mum's net. I am a dad. Hope that's okay.

Taking my two girls skiing (well, show fun !) In February.

Just getting them kitted out (snow suits etc ) lots of layers.

I can't seem to find any decent socks. They are all so thin.

My girls feet are 4 and 7 (infant!)

Any suggestions? Can only find child sizes and.not infant.

Many thanks

Simon x

Think you will have to go to a specialist shop for skiing socks, they will have some ‘tube’ shaped ones with no shaped heels, so that they will fit the toddler. Somewhere like Snow and Rock, or some of the outdoor sports shops.

We just used M&S thermal socks when ours were that age. Decathlon good for wool ones too.

We used tights-super warm version until kids were about 5. They won't roll down as socks tend to do. Lidl had them a couple of weeks back.

Decathlon do kids ski socks.

Try the Britwear website . They do welly socks dirt cheap that are v reasonably priced and thick and warm. And another tip is put a pair of tights under thermals and socks then tracksuit bottoms and ski wear on top. It kept my kids warm in minus 27 degree temperatures.

Oh and thin socks under thick welly socks of course. Have fun !

Tights are your friend. tube socks and really good snow boots

JoJo Maman Bebe are great for your kids size. Socks and boots.

Aldi skiwear this Sunday might have small enough socks to do.
