We're off to the south of France for 4 weeks in August. What's to do that will keep dd1 13, ds 10 and dd2 nearly 4 occupied, and dh and me obviously.

Aqualand is already on the list.

Trips to Italy?? Where??

BTW we're staying in Nice, dd1 and ds hate the beach!!

There is a brilliant aquarium in Monaco, the soap and perfume factories in Grasse, a go karting circuit behind nice somewhere, and perhaps a boat trip or two. You could also drive up to plaves like Eze, St Paul de Vence, etc, which may be interesting for short periods. Mougins in lovely....sorry to ramble!

I too vote for a senic trip to Eze village (lovely Italian rest right in the square, fab ice creams). Big walk up to the top with little pathways and church here

image.pegs.com/images/BW/93479/93479_m.gif Villefranche beach is beautifull, but all of the coastline is abit stoney.

You can travel from Nice along the coastline by train to Monaco. Stop on the way. Monaco Palace has visit and also the palace gardens are nice, with fantastic views. Esaily walkable from train station to main town. Just need a map.

You can't reach Eze Village from the stain Station at Eze as it is too far up the hill.

We stayed in Eze and did a trip (by car) San Remo on market day. Was Ok, again lovely Italian Ice cream.

Marineland in Antibes is a popular spot. There are some other child-friendly attractions next to it, and a funfair in high season I believe. The train station is also right beside it so you could get the train from Nice.

Looks lovely, I have bookmarked the site. Have a nice time. There is a huge underground supermarket, to buy all your main shopping, nut you can't beat the local market squares.

Your children will enjoy hiring rollerblades and going up and down the Promenade des Anglais. Shop is located to the left on the main coast road, as you look out to sea!

We had our Honeymoon in the Negresco! It was Lovely.
