Where to eat in Prague

Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat for my husbands 50th birthday in Prague?

Somewhere special would be really nice, but teeny tiny frilly portions won't do..he likes a good meal...but an extremely good meal in a nice setting is needed.

Thank you!

Shame no one answered. I've visited Prague a couple of times, there will be tons of restaurants to choose from! Don't know any 'special' ones, both times I visited we're just casual weekend trips. Maybe your hotel can suggest? The food there is very German so no issues with hearty portions! Lots of other styles of food too. Hope y have a lovely visit...

Palfi’s Palace is nice. I think that’s how it’s spelt?

I really rate the cafe imperial. Great food with decent portions and really nice atmosphere. You have to book a table early though.

La Provence is lovely with the downstairs, candle lit dinners.

The Imperial Cafe is worth a visit. The tiles inside the building are stunning. Great for lunch or a hot chocolate when you’re cold.
