Weather in Tenerife in March

Hi all, we're thinking of booking a holiday for next March and there's a couple of hotels it Tenerife that look nice.

Was wondering if anyone had been to Tenerife in March and could tell me what the weather is like at that time of year?

We are all quite fair skinned so don't want it to be baking hot but would like it to be warm enough to wear summer clothes. TIA

Don't know about March but I have been twice in February and it has been very pleasant. I am fair skinned too and don't like it to be too overwhelmingly hot so it was just right for me.

Also it might depend whereabouts on the island you are. We stayed in the North both times. The south is very arid and is hotter. The north is more green and a more moderate temperature.

Generally pleasant weather all year round in the canaries.

It can be a little cooler with chances of the odd shower in the winter months.

I've been in February for the past few years and its always been nice enough bar the odd half day.

Are youplaning to stay in the south or further north. That can make a difference ( although I much prefer the north).

It will be nicer weather than the UK in March no doubt, but not unbearably hot.

if you want to swim you will need a heated pool. its normally sundress or shorts/tshirt during the day and jeans and fleece at night when its a lot cooler. generally quite windy. thats in lanzarote or south tenerife. weather in north tenerife is cooler

Thanks everyone, we're looking at south Tenerife. Sounds like it will be just what we're after

I have, it was about 18/19 degrees, only just hit enough for bikinis. If I were you I'd go to Gran Canaria which is hotter. We've just been to Puerto Rico there and it was fabulous
