In brief we booked a 1 week half term break to the Balearic islands and due to fly home Sunday. Had stayed at the same resort last year and enjoyed a great holiday, but this year its been awful. Weather is poor which can't be helped....
However we booked with a very reputable holiday company which states the hotel is situated with easy reach to local amenities and offers a full holiday kids club..... Except all the shops and restaurants have closed up in the last 48 hours, went to get bread and milk today and sign on the supermarket advised its shut for the season so have had to rely on the hotel for food and drinks. Obviously this is much more expensive than the local supermarket so unsure if we even have enough money for food until Sunday, the entertainment has now finished and we are just watching the hotel get packed away.
I am absolutely gutted and this has sent me into a tailspin with regards to my anxiety..... Is it reasonable to expect the holiday co to get is home to the UK before Sunday and what about the additional expenses which we have limited access to cash for
