Covent Garden restaurant recommendations please

Looking for recommendations of a nice but not too pricey or pretentious restaurant in Covent Garden please for before a theatre trip!

Polpo on Maiden Lane is nice (it is a chain but a good one!) - gets busy though so you'll need to book.

It's a little bit further but the Portrait restaurant at the National Portrait Gallery is nice and has an amazing view. They do a good pre-theatre menu.

Polpo is excellent! I also like Sticks n Sushi, we’ve been a few times pre-theatre.
