DD1 is 30 minutes away from there now and I can see where her plane is here (she's on BA1503 if anyone else wants to look)

I've just seen it pass Boston & then Providence - that's me useless for the next half-hour then

Hi, YG!

Yes, she is, this will def have to be the last time. She is heading for a heatwave too, the whole country is around 30 degrees (except N California I think)

It's fascinating, isn't it - I am hooked She's over Long Island now (home of her birth!) so we'll lose track of her in a minute

Wow!!! That's fantastic!! Whereabouts on LI was your dd born? We have friends at Huntingdon Station. It's their cabin we go to stay at in upstate NY, which I think is about where B669 is atm.

Ds1 and dw have just gone up to N Ca to do a summer camp. It's hard work, many of the children are on ritalin but parents take them off it over the holidays so their bodies can have a break from it. It's not so wonderful for the carers, though.

Hi sue!

You can see where the other flights s are coming from here as well if you're wondering about them!

She was born at North Shore hospital in Manhasset, in Nassau County - is Huntingdon Station in Suffolk? The camp DD1 is going to is upstate NY, Albany area, in another Nassau - this is her 4th visit.

Blimey, DS1's camp does sound like hard work - I hope they have loads and loads of counselors there, they'd need it.
