Hi

As per title, any recommendations what to do? My main concern is a pushchair on the metro.

Can anyone recommend any of the citadines apartment which is most central so I can possibly walk everywhere and not take the metro.

Places to see or do Christmas day?

Thanks

Some stations have lifts, but there's often a barrier / turnstile to negotiate, and you can't always find someone to open the gates. Much better to take the buses. Most often, the entrance to the bus is near-level with the pavement , so pushing your buggy right on board is usually a breeze. Plus, easy bus lines breeze between many of the main tourist sites in Paris, such as the 72 line you can hop aboard by the Hotel de Ville, ride along the Seine, and exit at the Louvre, Touileris, Musee d’Orsay, or Tour Eiffel.
Although tickets are validated at the front of the bus, it is much better to board with your DC in the buggy at the rear doors of the bus, and park it directly in the space allotted there for wheelchairs. Take care of the stamp quickly once your buggy has been secured.
Don't miss the window displays of Galeries Lafayettes, on the Right Bank, or Bon Marché, on the Left Bank.
The Pompidou Centre is open.
There's a giant Ferris wheel on the Rivoli side of the Tuileries Gardens. The Seine river cruises usually operate in Christmas Day and I'm pretty sure the Eiffel Tower is too.
