what to do with 2 kids in oxford this weekend?

hello

anone out there got any good recommendations of where to take 2 boys aged 4 and 7 in oxford? staying in headington and have to depend on public transport. indoors/outdoors suggestions welcomed as can't be sure of weather can we?

Isn't there a swimming pool up that way? Otherwise nip on a bus and go and wander around the colleges annoying the porters with loud comments.

The Ashmolean Museum (Egyptian stuff); the Pitt Rivers Museum (shrunken heads); indoor swimming pool is in North Oxford (along the Banbury Road); outdoor swimming pool is at Ferry Hinksey (South Oxford); Christchurch College Meadows (where Alice in Wonderland was written); Port Meadow in Jericho (Jude the Obscure); Oxford Covered Market cafes (town centre) for ice-creams and lunches.
Central Oxford is easy to walk around.
