Paris with kids

Heading to Paris for a few days over half term & have 3 DSs (aged 7, 9 & 11) - any must sees?

We will do the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe & Louvre (& also the day at Disney) but any other things you'd recommend for boys of those ages? TIA.

The older two would probably find the Catacombs interesting, but I'm not sure whether I would take a 7yo. I suppose it depends on the child. Perfect for Halloween though!
Jardin d'Acclimation is good for that age.

We did it a couple of years ago and after the Eiffel tower we did a big bus city tour on an open top bus. Big bus sometimes have a live tour guide instead of just he headphones and ours was great. Chance to rest after marching up and down the tower plus to see what else we really wanted to visit.

Loved the aquarium at Val D’Europe x

Paris is amazing. You will all love it. Be prepared for VERY tired children though!

A trip on the river with the Bateaux Mouches. More fun than a bus but also a blissful rest for everyone's feet.

Personally I'd skip the Louvre, or be very selective and only plan to see three pictures or something. It's absolutely ginormous and I find it exhausting as an adult. You can climb up the top of the Arc de Triomphe, which is fun.

Thanks all - Louvre is for me as I adore it there, but I take your point, I probably should skip it with the kids as want them to enjoy the trip

Loving the ideas here as lots I've not heard of. Thank you!

The science museum ( Cité des sciences et de l'industrie) has quite a few interactive bits for all ages.

Bateaux mouches (river boats)

Parc Astérix is a 100 times better than Disney.

I d go on top of Arc de triomphe rather than the Eiffel tower to avoid queueing. The view are nicer too.

Would skip Louvre (we walked straight out it was crowded and unpleasant) and go for orangerie if you want a touch of culture. See the Louvre pyramid from outside & walk thru Tuileries to orangerie if nice day.

Eiffel Tower bec then every time they see it in pictures they've been there.

Bateux definitely

Ride on metro

Crepes somewhere...

That park was recommended to us by a friend who comes from Paris. Lovely place- we went there twice during our 7 days stay.

The Jardin des Plantes contains the multi-building Natural History Museum and a small labyrinth and some animals, and was great for my 10 and 6yos. Could spend the day. Some nice family-friendly brasseries nearby - Rue Daubenton.

Take the boat from the Eiffel Tower all the way down back to le Louvre

Thanks!
