Has anyone been to this small island in the Maldives?

Skate - thought you were in labour? How's it going?

Slowly!! Half of me is tempted to walk about to speed it up and half of me wants to lie down so it won't happen - ha ha!! If I was 4cm this morning do you think it will just pick up today or could it be ages yet??

Since you have had babies before you could stick at 4cm for a while yet. Once your contractions kick in though things should move a long pretty quickly. If you feel like having a sleep i would do that rather than marching around to get contractions on the go. You might end up exhausted before they start in earnest! Good louck

Was hoping, in a way, it would all be over today! A lie down sounds like a good suggestion (done the 'relax in the bath' bit!) - I'm in the middle of a good book! Yes, a couple of the midwives have said it will probably go quick once properly established. Last one did - only just made it to hospital! By the way, have filled out independent midwives survey. Thanks for your advice and support - how fab to have a midwife 'on line'!!!!
