Is it wise to buy Legoland tickets on the door for a fireworks event?

Planning on taking my 12yo sister to a fireworks event/Brick or Treat at Legoland at the end of the month, I have a Nutrigrain voucher for one entry free on the door which would give us a total £60. Just wondering if it would be wiser to prebook - how rammed do these fireworks events get? Could we be refused entry if there's no space if we don't prebook, or will there be intolerable queues? My only hesitancy is that will cost me £94 (47 each)!! We're likely to arrive early - she's lego mad :) Any help appreciated! Confused
