Visiting grandad

Hi,
We are thinking of taking our 3 month old to visit his grandad (4 hours away) and stay a couple of nights. Does anyone have any useful advice to make things go as smoothly as possible. Thanks

Are you travelling by car or train?
You'll need a cot of some sort. There are various tent types that are easier than the traditional sort.

Could you do washing there? If not, take plenty of clothes.
