We are going on holiday in 2 weeks to Turkey, my DD will be 5 months old. She was prem so technically she's 3 months old Confused

Anyway.. has anybody taken a baby abroad? What do I need to take with me?

I have insurance and all that stuff sorted but just asking for a bit of knowledge Smile

Just think about what you use on a daily basis and take that. From memory I'm guessing you'll need nappies and changing stuff, vests, body suits, hat, sunscreen, sun shade for pram, car seat, sling/baby carrier, bibs, muslins/cloths, bottles, formula, teats & sterilising stuff if bottle-feeding, sleep suits and grobags, dummies (if using), pram blanket ... Just don't assume you'll be able to find stuff in Turkey, if you need certain brands or products - take it with you!

I first took my baby to Turkey and I lived out there for 3 years.

You can get pretty much everything you need out there. You can find Pampers nappies, they are called Prima but I used Molfix, which are just as good. You will find wipes too but take some nappy sacks as they are hard to find.

If you are formula feeding make sure you take enough with you as they don't have all brands out there. You can order from Boots and collect at the airport if that helps you.

If there is anything else you need to know about babies and turkey just ask. Which part are you going to?
