We are staying just outside of St Omer at the end of October in a village called Quiestede. We were there 6 years ago for a few days so didn’t really get chance to explore! We are driving from Calais and will stock up at a hyper market enroute. Probably not at Cite Europe. Looking for things to do our party ages range from 10-77! Also recommendations for restaurants. Thank you.

It's definitely worth going to Nausicaa, the 'National Sea Centre', a state-of-the-art aquarium with a sea-lion reserve, a penguin beach and giant Seychelles turtles. It's in Boulogne, where there are also some tombs with an Egyptian mummy and treasures. Visit the industrial heritage Mining Museum in Lewarde.
The maritime museum in Dunkerque is interesting and there are boats and a ship which children can explore.
Agincourt has a good museum/centre with plenty to interest and occupy children.
Hire bikes, walk, or paddle down the Canche from Beaurainville.
