Me adn dp had to take separate holidays before dcs. He went to Aushwitz, i went to Gran Canaria. Both harrowing in their own way.

now out of the two I would choose Auschwitz

It was my first and only stay in a resort. Amazing. Like a giant outdoor Lewisham shopping centre, but with more greasy spoons and some sand. There were wierdo orange reps who encouraged us to go to bingo and cabaret gambling nights and stay away from natives as they were all nasty theives. Incredible.
