Afternoon everyone :) just wondering has anyone been to whinfell forest, centreparcs ?
Myself and OH are looking at going last weekend of November for the Christmas wonderland it will be our last family break with 16 month old DD before DS comes beginning of January Grin
I've been looking at activities to book for DD, mucky pups, toddler sensory etc .
So what are your experiences with taking your little ones ?

Just got back from whinfell. It was great, very child and buggy friendly. Soft play area in the lakeside inn and the bowling entertainment centre too. Kids disco at 6:30 pm there too.

Nice walks all around the site and the pool area is great.

We booked a lakeside lodge but I would not have wanted toddlers on the patio.

We booked swimming lessons but didn't go in the end. They open the pool at 09:30 for babies and toddlers only do that's a good time to go.

There are swing parks too, check out the sports arena as there is lots going on there including paid soft play.

Bottle warming facilities in restaurants and free Heinz baby food!

You'll have a great time.

We went many years ago when DS was slightly younger than yours. It’s magical around that time of year and buggy friendly. The upstairs pool is much less chaotic and quieter to relax by especially if your DS still has an afternoon nap (or it used to be). They also used to have a heated outdoor pool outside upstairs which was lovely too. To be fair when DS went we did lots of nice walks around the site and spent a lot of time in the pool area especially upstairs it was like being abroad, I don’t think he did any activities but he was younger than your DS. Enjoy
