Croatia - which bits for a resort / beach holiday?

Just that really...considering Croatia rather than Greece this year for a change and due to cost.

We have to go for May / June half term so weather is one issue? Where will be warm / sunny?

Lots on offer with Thompson but I have no idea on which area is nice? We are looking for a hotel based holiday with kids club, watersports, cycling (maybe?) and hopefully places to visit nearby. Don't need all inclusive really as quite like venturing out.

Anyone have any tips?

I went to Croatia in May last year. The weather was wonderful, it was around 24-27 so not too hot. We had a week in Dubrovnik, but also visited Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a couple of the islands not far from Dubrovnik. We stayed in an apartment so can’t advise on hotels I’m afraid, but I’d definitely recommend Dubrovnik and the area around it. It’s such a beautiful place and my most favourite holiday ever. We travelled with a 9 and 13 year old who also very much enjoyed it.
