Center Parcs or CBeebies Hotel?

Looking for mumsnet wisdom. Have a bit of extra cash and looking to go away for DD's 2nd bday. I was going to book two nights at CBeebies hotel at Alton Towers (AT itself is closed but the water park is open and entertainment all day/eve at the hotel) as have found a decent price there for once (usually insanely expensive).

But my OH has just pointed out we could do a midweek Center Parcs trip for a bit more on the same dates and he thinks that's better value. I'm not sure you can EVER do CP on the cheap as we'll inevitably end up paying loads of activities/coffees/meals out, plus it'll be flippin freezing in November! He doesn't fancy the drive to AT from where we are (3.5hrs) and says the travel isn't worth a two night stay.

Anyone been to both and can tell me which is the better option? Which would you do? Thank you!

Centerparcs is amazing. Take your own food and snacks and a slow cooker if you have one! The pool is fab even in November. I think id go to centerparcs over anything to be honest!
