Ok so for the first time since kids, we are able to afford to go abroad next summer. I have no idea where to start. Do any of you lovely ladies have tips or recommendations for kids friendly destinations, do's and don't's, or things I need to think about? We fancy southern Europe, villa, pool. Kids are 4 and 6.

We went to Menorca for our first package holiday. Definitely a good choice. Short flight, lovely sandy, shallow beaches.
We went into travel agents and got some really helpful advice. I know travel agents are poo hoo'd on here, but I found their advice invaluable.

Thanks. I hadn't even considered travel agents. We always sort everything ourselves - I think in the past we found going through travel agents much more expensive, but I will give it a go. More than happy to be proved wrong!

We went to Terra Natura
All inclusive

If you book direct make sure your travel insurance covers AIrplane failure - then it's the same as the travel agents cover

Majorca is good for villas.
