Booking a mixture of hand luggage and stowed luggage

Hello. I don't have much experience of booking planes so I am asking what is probably a very obvious question! I am trying to book a flight for 5 of us on the BA site and it will let me book ALL handluggage only (cheapest option) or ALL with luggage allowance. I want two tickets with luggage allowance and three without! Do I get the option of adding luggage allowance later? How can I do this? Thanks.

You can certainly do that with the budget airlines. Not sure about BA. You might have to deselect baggage for those who you don't want it for, if it automatically selects it for you all.
