I'm looking for some advice please. We have 3 dc, 2 of school age and are lucky enough to have two inset days after the October half term, so Monday and Tuesday 29th 30th October. We've been told that the Tuesday is likely to be really really quiet at legoland and so want to book a one night hotel the night before (Monday night), at somewhere with a swimming pool, as this constitutes almost as much excitement for the dc as legoland itself. So, my questions: given that hotels and legoland probably want bums on seats, am I best to call hotels and get their best prices as I guess comparison site charges can be undercut? Does anyone have any good insider knowledge about how to get the best deal? At the moment, given the 3rd dc (he's 2), the best deal I can find is roughly £250. I'm hoping it might get cheaper nearer the time...tips please! Thank you
