Family friendly restaurant in Milton Keynes

unknownrebelbang · 10/06/2007 20:56

I'm taking DS3 (8) down to Milton Keynes in a couple of weeks, and we're stopping in the Travelodge in the centre.

Can anyone recommend a family friendly restaurant fairly close by please?

TIA.

What sort budget? the snow dome is right opposite the travel lodge and there are l;ots of restaurants round there.

What sort of food?

We were there last December for a bit of a family get together (nidway between all our homes). We went to a Beefeater which was very good, varied food and prices, good service, and nice comfortable restaurent. Will see if I can find out what it was called.

Ah, that sounds useful then.

Budget - reasonable. Food, well he'll eat most things, I'm a tad more fussy, but I'm sure we'll find something suitable around there.

Just didn't want to be traipsing round looking for something suitable on a Friday evening with an 8 year old in tow.

Thanks Mascara.

you're a 5min walk from the theatre district, there's a pizza hut, bella pasta, zizzis (upmarket pizzeria) a lovely chinese restaurant and then a buffet chinese and indian. There's also the spice lounge which has live music but might be a tad grown up for 8yo.

In the snow dome there are burger bars, Old Orleans which does pretty much everything, nandos McDs a Tapas Bar, Ask (intalian) etc

Great.

Thanks, both of you.
