Calling Lincolnshire mums!

Hello! We are off to Burgh Le Marsh in Lincolnshire on Frid for a week to celebrate our unbelievable 40th wedding anniversary! We have rented two cottages as family are joining us. Been to Woodhall Spa two years ago but really don’t know the area very well. I know we are only 5 miles from Skegness but would just be happy pottering in pretty towns with vintage shops and tea rooms! Any suggestions within a shor5 drive from Burgh Le Marsh please? Thank you.

Congratulations! New to Lincolnshire but can recommend WoodhallSpa and the Kinema in the Woods. V romantic xxx

Kinima in the woods if they have a good film (Woodall spa). Tea at the petwood hotel (was the dambusters base) and then there is a good play area pretty much opposite them (or was!)

Not an area I know well so I'm afraid that's all I have.

Thank you for responding. We have been to Woodhall and seen the kinematic, that was two years ago, but haven’t been anywhere else. We have 10 year old twins to amuse!

Congratulations! Meant yo say that before but seriously, well done.

Horncastle is fill of antique shops ranging from the junk-shop-spend-forever-in-there to the mortgage-your-grandmother-to-buy-a-spoon.

Louth is a pretty little market town.

Not been to Skeggy in years so hard to say but natureland used to be good. They will have general seaside. If you want a freezing quiet beach instead try Hutyoft. Although I'm not sure if they even have loos!

Thanks Mip Horncastle sounds just my cup of tea! Not too far from Burgh either.
