Has anyone had experience of Finnair ? Particularly long haul from U.K. to Asia. Reviews seem to be mixed on searching.

Only done shorthaul to Finland and was fine, bit like equivalent of BA with blueberry juice.

Yep, flew Finnair to HKG this year. A350 was a great flight, clean, good service and decent film selection. The food in the airport is hugely expensive and don’t wear flip flops to fly in March. Trekking across the tarmac in the snow was a bit chilly!

Thanks for replies. Have booked to fly to HKT next April with Finnair via Helsinki. Will take heed of the advice re foot where! I wouldn't have considered that

I flew with them this week from Asia to London. It was a bit chilly boarding in Helsinki - bus to plane - and I thought the entertainment system was quite poor - nowhere near as good as Cathay. However staff friendly and food was decent.

I’ve only done Helsinki with them a good few years ago

Only thing noteworthy I remember was the plane food was v good - reindeer Grin
