Easter: we (me, DH and DD) went to cottage in N Yorkshire for a week with friends.

Summer: going to a cottage, with pool, in South of France with PILs for a fortnight. Flying over and then getting car hire.

October: going to cottage, with shared pool, in France for a week. Going with Katz and family. Going over in tunnel in large hired car (7 seater thingy). Staying half way between Paris and Disney.

Fortnight in Brittany, We're leaving the minute school's out and driving down for the overnight ferry

Then a few days camping near Eastbourne in August to watch the air show. Does that make me a plane-spotter? [nerd]

Hulababy · 07/06/2007 22:07

Sounds lovely. We went for a week last time and the area is really nice. Really liked Cannes for a wander.

unknownrebelbang · 07/06/2007 22:13

Already been to Holland and Bridlington (no comparison, lol, but both good fun).

Going to Norfolk in October and Florida for Christmas.

Just considering whether or not to book a cheap couple of days away in August.

We're going here in August with my brother, SIL and their 2 children, and my dad.

First time we've all been away together, and the first holiday my dad has had in the 3 years since my mum died.

We went to Scotland at Easter for 5 days. Other than that, nothing planned. I may join my parents for a few days in Cumbria, and we might try to get somewhere in October. Can't afford summer holiday prices.
