I want to take DSs micro scooter on holiday. Has anyone done this before? As checked in baggage or hand luggage?

Can't see why not. Certainly should be ok in hold luggage. Might be too big for cabin baggage

I've taken scooters in checked baggage before.

No but my teenager took his skateboard. They just put it in hand luggage. If it’s not a folding scooter you might have to put it in the hold, like you would a guitar for example.

Checked in - no problem.
Hand luggage.... how small does it fold, and what are the dimensions of hand lugage allowed by your airline?

We've taken DD's scooter, several years back, in our hold luggage.

I've folded up the micro and put it in checked luggage before.

Our micro doesn't fold. If we were to check it in would we do so just loose or wrap it up or put it in some kind of bag?
