Valle Dell'Erica Resort in Sardinia - anyone been?

According to the blurb on one website it ticks all our boxes, nice beach, childcare, not madly expensive but still quite luxy

But on trip advisor they go on about crap service and lack of beach space and a wild wind....

It's apparently "in the North of the island of Sardinia, overlooking the environmentally protected Maritime National Park of La Maddalena and the charming deserted island of Spargi. 4 km from the picturesque Porto Pozzo Village and 12Km from the small town of Santa Teresa Di Gallura.

they're holding room till tomorrow - argh! Anyone have any experience?

Lovely area, fantastic beaches all round the coast more like seculded small beaches with no bars/ shops etc. , great scenery round that coastline never been to that resort however. They are right about the wind it can blow strong in that area. I would avoid Sardina in August as it is full of posing Italians . Roads are crammed and prices are elevated.

But can only go in August and all Europe full of Italians (and French and now Russians too) so can;t worry about that

DO worry about strong winds and lousy service/noise though. Just wish I could find someone who'd been.. anyone out there?
