center parcs - baby on a bike?

lucylala · 06/06/2007 23:00

am going to center parcs in july with my 3 yr old and baby who will then be aged 5mths (nearly 6mths).

Don't think baby will be able to sit up on his own (he's got a strong head but nowhere near sitting up at moment).

Do you think he will be ok in one of those childseats on back of my bike or am i gonna have to push buggy along while everyone else whizzes past me?

Anyone tell me their experiences?

Are you thinking of cycling after giving birth to two children
We still have our mountain bikes (its how we met, aww but I keep saying I'm only saving mine for when the kids are big enough to use it.
I will drive the sag wagon (my comfy car) when daddy takes my boys on bike rides!
And don't go on at me, I cycled to work for donkeys years in all weathers but have now hung up my saddle as I can't take two children to nursery on my bike now can I
But back to your question, I think baby will be able to hold head up by then, the baby seat we were given (been in the loft I've no intention of using it!) is quite high up at the back so may be enough support for him.

our janitor has it right. You can hire one of those - no problems.

def should be ok. If you want to hire one of those pull along thingy's just do it in advance

we have a trailer similar to those and ds2 goes inside it in his car seat so he's 'in' something
