Can I take an empty flask on a flight through security and fill it up with hot water bought from a vendor on the other side in the shops?

Trying to figure out making baby bottles up on a plane

Yes. That will be no problem

Yes. Heathrow now have water filling stations after security which I used the other day. Just remember to empty it before going through security.

Just realised you need hot water. The filling machines are cold only but I’m sure a shop will give you hot.

I took an empty thermal bottle thru sec9and filled it afterwards

eurochick · 30/08/2018 17:49

Yes it's fine. Loads of people take refillable bottles through now.

You can take anything you need for the baby!
You don't have to empty the bottle before security but you will most likely be asked to try any liquids you have for your baby(that includes breastmilk in a bottle and ready made formula)
