Parking in Amsterdam

Hi there !!
We're attending my friends milestone birthday trip in Amsterdam later this year. We're bringing DD (2.5yo) as DF told us her plans (she plans to be there with her BF and we all "drop in" when we can etc). We want to stay at the center parcs outside the city so that we can break up the museums etc for DD.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of either of the following:

Driving in to Amsterdam- is there parking close by in the centre ?
Or
If anyone has stayed at the center parcs is there good transport links to the city ?

Thank you ! :)

If you can take the train then take the train. City easy to navigate and trains in NL very good

take the train
parking is horredously expensive
there are a park&ride places near the airport, but they are expensive as well

We always park at the Olympic Stadium and then get the bus or tram into the city. The journey there and back is included in your parking ticket.

That's great !! Thanks all! I'll look for a train station close to center parcs. Do the trains run at all hours do you know?

I've looked !! Trains near enough every 30 mins !! Perfect....!
Sounds silly but hadn't really considered trains 🙈 thanks for your input :)
