As ever, because of my husband's work, we are planning a last minute holiday. We can only go week 5/9-12/9 and want to fly ideally to Italy (or France) to somewhere which is EASY to get to and which has a sandy beach. We'd like to stay in a selfcatering apartment/hotel with two bedrooms for us and DS - 2 1/2 and DD 14 months. We aren't particularly flush at mo so cheaper the better. We wanted to go to Sperlonga as rec by another Mumsnetter but the ideal place to stay is full.
Any other locations, contacts etc greatly appreciated.
