Hard rock hotel Tenerife - anyone been?

Looking at a short break for dc's 18th Birthday. Kids like the look of this hotel. Seems a little out of the way and a bit more expensive than other hotels but can see the appeal from dc's point of view.

Anyone been and would you recommend?

Or alternatively any recommendations for any teen friendly hotels in the canaries (looking at going over xmas/new year so canaries probably best bet for some sun! )

Not been to the hotel, but very familiar with location,which to be honest is horrible. Not in a particularly nice resort, in fact i found it quite depressing when I looked around.

For things to do, you need to go further down the coast to costa adeje, depending on budget there are some brilliant hotels, and great choice of bars/restaurants. Have a look and pm me if you see something you like as i know most of the hotels location wise. And have stayed i alot.

I looked at it for our family (DC were 18 and 20).
Decided it was too isolated and went to the Iberostar Sabila
As Mad says lots of good hotels in Costa Adeje,including some adults only . Plenty of good bars with a bit of live music or head into PDLA for proper young people's nightlife. Also nice restaurants if you can avoid all inclusive.
If going in summer Siam Park is awesome. probably not in December though.
