never stayed in it but worked in another property next door to it, its in an area of alcudia called playa de muro, which is basically a quieter end of alcudia. its right near a nature reserve and right on alcudia beach which is probably the best beach on the island. its quite new, not even 10 years old and it has good family facilities. the only downside is that its quite a trek into the actual resort of alcudia and there isnt much going on down the playa de muro end of the resort, just a couple of supermarkets, if you like to eat out or have a wander round the family bars at night then you would have to either a) walk about 20 mins into alcudia or b) get a taxi.
but the complex is lovely and one of the best self catering units down that end of the resort.hth

Not what you're asking exactly but whilst in Majorca this year went (after much begging from kids) to Hidropark (water slides etc) at Alcudia and it was MUCH better than we grumpy parents expected- a great day out. Might depend on age of your children though.
