We lok into going away for October half term, Summer was so busy with DD finishing Primary school and all the preparation for secondary and just one week away took its toll.

Can anybody recommend a resort, we look for AI, good food, at least 4* and a decent pool or better pools.

DH and I have been to Tenerife, years ago, pre-DD, so we may not want to go again but in the end this will be a break we will mainly spend at the hotel so I am not too fussed.

TUI Sensatori has a superb pool scene and great restaurants. www.tui.co.uk/destinations/europe/spain/tenerife/guia-de-isora/hotels/tui-sensatori-resort-tenerife/facilities

Costa Adeje in Tenerife is lovely and has lots of 4/5* hotels.
I love Fuerteventura but it can be very windy and I would only go there in summer.

I second costa adeje in Tenerife. It’s a bit quieter than some of the resorts but still enough going on. Decent 4 star hotels (some 5 star ++£ when going in school holidays). We like iberostar hotels, best food of the several hotel we’ve stayed at in Tenerife. Siam Park is a brilliant water park and free buses run through the resorts. Tenerife has the best of the weather of all the Canary Islands when going in winter season.
