And one been? If so would you recommend? Would be taking a 9 & 13 yr old.

I'd give it 3/5. Think your 13 yr old would be bored rigid.

Not the best day out I have ever had and unless they are especially interested in space the 13 year old would be very bored.

3/5 is pretty accurate. It was full of small children when we went. So no chance to enjoy the place and read through all the science stuff that is displayed.

Thanks, I did mention it to them & my 13 yr old thinks she could of been before on a school trip when in primary school so isn't bothered, so it's a re-think, DH has suggested York Maze.

One of the most disappointing places that we ever took ours to although it was several years ago so may have improved . We were actually just killing time whilst dh was at a meeting in the vicinity . At that time there was some kind of toilets / sewerage museum right next door and my dc found that more entertaining which probably says it all .
