Hi mums, I just thought I'd post this as it is perfect for the kids if you have no plans for this Bank Holiday!

Join us for a book themed Bank Holiday afternoon of family fun and imagination.
The adventure will begin when you meet the Storyteller who will lead you on an interactive Story Book Adventure through Holdenby’s magnificent gardens, with lots of surprises along the way.
Enjoy, rides on the fantastic Little Bus 1910, the ladybird nature trail, traditional fete games, face painting, build a bear and of course spectacular Falconry displays from Icarus Falconry.
There will also be a rare opportunity for everyone to enjoy the historic interiors of the house, once the largest house in England and the Palace and Prison of Charles I.
Book a Character Afternoon Tea on the lawn and come dressed as your Favourite Book Character whether it be Harry Potter, Cinderella, Horrid Henry or Peppa Pig.
With delicious cream teas and refreshments being served from Connie’s Tea parlour and the vintage caravan on the Lawn there will be something for all the family to enjoy.
Event Times: Monday 27th August 2018 - 12 - 5pm
House Open: 12 - 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Tickets: Adult £8, Child £3.50 (Under 14), Concession £6, Family ticket (2+2) £21
Historic Houses Members: Adult £4.50, Concession £2.50 (House Entry Free)
