Holiday alone for new year - Caribbean?

I’m thinking about being brave and booking a week for myself after Christmas while my kids go to the ex for new year. Have never been away by myself before but can’t face the idea of being home alone (just had two wks in the summer minus the kids and it was miserable). Finances permitting, anyone have any recommendations - all inclusive 4 or 5 star, don’t want to hire a car and would like to chill for the week. Also - anyone who has done this, is it ok being a lone 43 yr old female at dinner etc or will i feel like a lonely old no-mates?
I’ve always fancied Grenada, St Lucia and Barbados. But other suggestions welcome....
Any advice would be fab! Thank you

I haven't done it alone but I think it sounds amazing! Barbados is amazing, lots to do not just beach. I haven't done St Lucia or Grenada but have done Antigua and Jamaica. Antigua is stunning but quiet. Jamaica also stunning but lots to do and crazy atmosphere. It all depends what you want. Personally as a lone female
I'd do Barbados for safety and ease of getting around. Good luck!

I'd do Barbados West Coast look at Crystal Cove or Tamarind and then you can walk around the West Coast area too.

Thanks Smile I will have a look at those. I do like the sound of Barbados, especially for safety.
