Country pub with lovely rooms

I want to take my DH away for the weekend in November for his 50th birthday and I am thinking of a lovely country pub with great food and gorgeous rooms. needs to be in Yorkshire, Lancashire or Cumbria as we live near Skipton and don't want to travel too far. Any suggestions/recommendations ??? tia

The Star at Harome? I’ve never stayed there overnight, but have eaten there several times and the food is incredible.

Northcote Manor also has rooms and is lovely.

It's not a pub but I took my dh here (on a MN recommendation!) And it was lovely, with great food too! It's at the foot of Skiddaw so we climbed it for his 40th and the hotel provided the most amazing packed lunch.
