We went last month and stayed on Gasparina site but want to be closer to Pescheria. Looking to see if anyone can recommend Butterfly or Camping Del Garda?
Also recommendations between Eurocamp, al fresco or direct with sites?

We went with canvas holidays and stayed slightly further round on the quieter south western side.

It was lovely, right on the lake and not as busy as the South Eastern corner gets but a short drive to Sirmioni and Garda Land etc.

I guess it depends what you want but I would recommend Canvas.

We’ve stayed in camp butterfly with Canvas and liked it. Location was great, nice pool and fairly quiet site. Restaurant was also quite good but loads of places nearby as well. Mobile home was basic and quite small, I think canvas ones may have been more dated than some of the others. They were also at the edge of the site so there was a bit of noise from people walking past at night.
Del Garda was right next door and I think a bigger site. Butterfly was nice for younger kids but del Garda might have more for older ones.
We didn’t have a car so location really suited us, easy to walk into Peschiera, catch train to Verona etc. There was also a free shuttle bus from outside the campsite to Lidl which was very handy!

We’ve literally just got back from Camping Butterfly. Nice enough site. Nice restaurant and ok pool and the location was good. Definitely wouldn’t book with Eurocamp. Eurocamp accommodation is right on the edge, next to the bins and opposite the brick wall of a neighbouring hotel. Bins were only open for short periods twice a day so we were woken at 8 every morning by the rest of the site walking past and smashing their glass bottles into the bins!

We have just returned from our second holiday at Camping Del Garda. It is a lovely site and not too big. It feels very peaceful because cars are not allowed by mobile homes. This means that children can play safely. We stayed with Alfresco and the mobile was great especially the 'lounge' furniture on your covered deck. We spent many lovely evenings sitting on our deck although there is entertainment but we didn't go to that. There are two pools. We spent our time by the quiet pool. All music and entertainment was at the other pool. The location was great for getting to the lake, Peschiera and the train station. The mobiles and bungalows that you book direct with the campsite look nice and very modern but you don't get a covered deck. Instead you get a terrace area and white plastic garden furniture. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know but I highly recommend Del Garda.
