Am - rather rashly given how cold it can get - going to Minsk in Belarus in January with a journalist friend who's covering an ice skating competition although she promises me we're not just going to be watching people in sequins gliding around. In case there's an extremely cold snap I've taken care to book a hotel with a nice lounge and a spa to warm up in!
Has anyone been? Got any recommendations for things to see and places to eat? Planning on going to the National Arts Museum and probably the Museum of the Great Patriotic War but more suggestions are always welcome. We have one whole day for exploring and a couple of half days plus our evenings.
Thanks x
