Christmas abroad

Because of the nature of my current job it's easier for us to take our main family holiday over Christmas. We don't have family commitments to worry about and last year we went skiing in the Alps which was brill. Currently considering options for this year, return to skiing is one option. I would like to not have to worry about cooking so either nice places to eat or good quality AI. Kids are aged between 5-10 which I think is what is putting me off going long haul although Thailand and the Caribbean have both been suggested. Suspect 10 days max would do us (we have animals which need to be looked after in our absence) but 7 days if not long-haul. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

We did a cruise out of Miami just before Christmas last year, followed by Christmas Day in the Keys. It was our first Christmas away from home and we all loved it.

Travelling anywhere over Xmas can be crowded and expensive. What about Disney ? loads to do and great food options. Otherwise if skiing what about a catered chalet where you should at least get dinner cooked for you?

Disney, florida keys and Belize have all been our Christmas trips and they were fab. would definitely say 10 days in Florida if you can.
