Reputable company to book Cyprus villa ?

I was looking on homeaway uk but saw no tel number to contact and then went on Twitter and saw loads of people tweeting them to complain about their villa including being scammed by landlords double booking!

Can anyone recommend a good company or site for booking a villa in Cyprus? Is booking.com good?

myexclusivevillas and paphosluxuryvillas were both really good places and I can recommend them.

Used these about 5 years ago and were great. Run by British ex pats.

I recommend booking.com as other sites it's hard to tell if it's a scam or not. at least booking.com you're guaranteed your money back if things go South and they do checks before companies or people can list on their site.

Thanks. That villa company only does Paphos too. I have spoken to booking.com and was impressed with them. Homeaway.co.uk seems awful. You can't even talk to them and there were reviews talking of scammer landlords double booking villas

Homeaway is direct to owners I've used it loads and been fine it also now has a security deposit system taken through the booking engine in case of issue, I tend to look for the British owners and it's been fine.
