West Coast USA in an RV

Looking at taking family to West Coast USA for a travelling holiday (from the U.K.). Anyone used any companies to book that they recommend? Any helpful tips/advice? Never done this before! Kids are 13, 11 and 8. Probably be looking at 2019 (or maybe 2020) Easter or Summer holidays.
